The Riesto Digital Meat Thermometer is a great addition to my kitchen tools.
Finally after 40 plus years of cooking I have a way of knowing if my meat is done, instead of slicing it to see if it is the desired look or not yet.
I noticed some people had posted that their thermometer did not change to Fahrenheit but I am here to report that mine works exactly as the instructions say it is to work. Be sure you read the instructions before use so that you will not think it doesn't work.
I also like that you can use it for a timer if that's what you need. That makes one less thing I need in my kitchen which is smaller than I prefer.
The thermometer requires 2 AAA batteries, not included
I personally like my beef cooked medium rare or some of it rare. Anything that keeps it juicy is great as far as I am concerned.
This thermometer has setting for beef, pork, chicken, turkey, veal, lamb, ham, and fish. It also has settings for well, medium, medium rare, rare and done. This thermometer does it all for me. I love it. Hope you will give it a try.
